Introduction • Experience the synergy of our system with our Members, Payers, and Care Providers. • Learn how WorldDoc products integrate with other health systems and improve health care. • Understand how the complete WorldDoc Health Management System is a vital part of every health plan and every Member’s life.

  3. Meet Sandy • In her 40’s • College-educated • Mother & wife • Has a house, 2.4 kids, a dog, and a white picket fence • Wouldn’t call herself a “geek”, but she’s fairly internet-savvy • Currently not feeling well • Member & User of WorldDoc

  4. Sandy opens up WorldDoc 24/7 Sandy can connect via any internet-connected device : • her home computer • her mobile phone • her netbook - OR - Any computer that has WorldDoc Home installed locally.

  5. Sandy uses the New and Improved PES

  6. WWSD? What Would Sandy Do? Depending on the answer, Sandy would be directed to: • Treat herself • Go directly to the Emergency Room Or in this case… • Make an appointment to see her doctor

  7. But Sandy doesn’t have a doctor! She uses WorldDoc to get a list of doctors who: • Are within 20 miles of her home • Accept her insurance • Are accepting new patients • Have a high approval rating and praising reviews • Match her criteria (age, gender, hours, language spoken, methodology, & philosophy)

  8. But wait, there’s more!

  9. It’s all about integration WorldDoc allows members to have an online Medical Home, enabling: • Doctor search & comparison • Cost & benefits lookup • Appointment scheduling • Send & receive medical information • Receive prescriptions and orders • Check HSA balance and related Claims • Receive & review test results

  10. Get ready to go • The appointment confirmation suggests Sandy fill out the Personal Health Record (PHR) • The PHR advises as to what is required as medical history by physicians • Sandy sends her PHR to her doctor NO FORM TO FILL OUT!

  11. The Complete PHR

  12. PHR portability • The PHR can be accessed by any internet-connected device • Can be synced with HealthVault, Google Health, and other services • Can be exported and saved locally & securely • Access by other people to sharable data is controlled entirely by Member • Is accessible by a personal WorldDoc account even if the member loses sponsorship!

  13. Now at the doctor’s office… • Doctor reviews the PES, lab results and PHR • The doctor AND Sandy can check WorldDoc for the most cost-effective medication under Sandy’s insurance • She locates the closest, cheapest pharmacy to fill her prescription • Doctor orders the Rx online

  14. Later on… • Sandy reviews the imported results of her blood test • She learns what each measurement is for and what each result means. • Sandy is able to get some help from a nurse via web chat or phone • AND she feels a lot better and can get back to work!

  15. Good for Sandy Sandy discovered that using WorldDoc could: • Help her understand her illness • Determine if she needs a doctor and WHICH doctor to go see • Save her WEEKS of waiting for treatment • Save her money on prescription costs Now, lets see what someone else can gain from his WorldDoc membership…
