  2. Weekly Article Review -Locate an article that pertains to what we are looking at during the week. Sources include but are not limited to Google science news www.livescience.com www.sciencedaily.com www.sciencenews.org www.nasa.gov/news/

  3. Weekly Article Review Review must include -full URL of the article. Not just google or livescience.com -Relationship of article to what we are studying -Write a new thesis statement for the article.

  4. Weekly Article Review There are 4-5 of them due each 6-weeks period. If the 6-weeks has a full 6 weeks in it, then there are 5 due(20 possible points each). If the 6-weeks period is short, then there will be 4 due(25 possible points each). The scores for the articles will be added together for a TEST grade. I recommend doing one per week to keep from having to do 5 in one night.

  5. Scientist Profile One per 6-week period for a test grade. I will post a list of scientists at the start of each 6-weeks. You have the option of picking one of the names from the list or proposing a different scientist to me.

  6. Scientist Profile Profile will include -Full Name of Scientist -Date of Birth and, if applicable, Date of Death -Short List (2-3 items) of your scientist's contributions to science -A 1 page (typed and double-space) minimum summary of the life and work of the scientist. -Complete citation list

  7. Scientist Profile These are due the Friday before the last week of the 6-weeks period.
