  2. Today in Class • Work on HW#3 • Outlines for new reports for this semster • Implementation Plan • Economic Analysis • Risk and Uncertainty Assessment

  3. Implementation Plan • What will it take to implement your recommended solution • Is new construction required? • Do existing facilities need to be renovated? • Is new equipment needed? • Are new procedures required?

  4. Implementation Plan • Provide as much detail as possible • conveys to the clients that you have considered all aspects of the solution • Should be a “blue print” that you can hand to the client

  5. Economic Analysis • Should cover all costs to implement the recommended solution • refer back to the Implementation Plan • Most clients will review this 1’st!! • you need to be in good contact with your clients on costs • the decision to implement your recommended solution will depend on the Economic Analysis

  6. Risk and Uncertainty Analysis • Look at all aspects of your proposed solution • look for anything that can go wrong • what if fuel prices go up? • what if the cost of electricity goes up? • what if the drought continues?

  7. In Class Team Work • Start on HW#3 • Instructors will circulate around the room to all teams
