  2. Stanza 01 She walks to school with a lunch she packed Nobody knows what she's holding back; bearing the same dress she wore yesterday. She hides the bruises with the linen and lace, oh Meaning: “She walks to school with the lunch she packed, so she’s responsible for herself. “Wearing the same dress she wore yesterday” Nobody cares enough to give her clean clothes. “She hides the bruises with a linen and lace” Shes afraid to tell anyone something happened to her.

  3. Stanza 02 The teacher wonders but she doesn't ask It's hard to see the pain behind the mask Bearing the burden of a secret storm Sometimes she wishes she was never born Meaning: “Its hard to see the pain” She hides all her pain behind a fake smile “Sometimes she wishes she was never born” She feels there is no place in this world.

  4. Stanza 03 (Course) through the wind and the rain she stands hard as a stone in a world that she can't rise above but her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place where she's loved concrete angel Meaning: “Threw the wind and the rain she stands as hard as concrete” Saying the she cant rise above what’s happening “Her dreams give her wings” She knows there’s a better world out there.

Stanza 04 somebody cries in the middle of the night the neighbors hear but they turn out the light a fragile soul caught in the hands of fate when morning comes it'll be too late Meaning: “The neighbors here but they turn out the lights’’ The one time she does cry out for help, people ignore it. ‘’’When morning comes it will be too late’’ Saying that when morning comes.. There will be no more girl.

  6. Course through the wind and the rain she stands hard as a stone in a world that she can't rise above but her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place where she's loved concrete angel (Already Talked About It)

Stanza 06 a statue stands in a shaded place an angel girl with an upturned face a name is written on a polished rock a broken heart that the world forgot Meaning: ‘’A statue stands in a shaded place. An angel girl with a upturned face’’ She gone.. Its to late. ‘’A broken heart that the world forgot’’ The world as already forgotten her.
