  4. ELITHABETHII She was born in London on the 21st of April 1926, the first daughter of The Duke and Duchess of York, subsequently King George and Queen Elizabeth. Five weeks later she was christened Elizabeth Alexandra Marry in the chapel at Buckingham Palace. The Princess married Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten, now his Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was the son of a Greek Prince. The Royal couple had four children, and so far have six grandchildren: Prince Charles, now the Prince of Wales, heir to the throne, was born in 1948, and his sister, Princess Anna, now the Princess Royal, two years later. After Princess Elizabeth became Queen, their third child Andrew, arrived in 1960 and the fourth, Prince Edward in 1963.

  5. THE PRINCE PHILIP Like The Queen, Prince Philip is a great-great-grandchild of Queen Victoria. The Queen and Prince Philip are also related through his father's side. His paternal grandfather, King George I of Greece, was Queen Alexandra's brother. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Earl of Merioneth and Baron Greenwich, has been married to The Queen since 1947. He was born Prince of Greece and Denmark in Corfu in 1921

  6. THE PRINCE OF WALES The Prince of Wales is the eldest son of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh. Born in 1948, he is heir apparent to the throne. The Prince Charles married Mrs Camilla Parker Bowles on 9 April 2005.

  7. THE EARL OF WESSEX The Earl of Wessex is the third son and youngest child of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh. He was born on 10 March 1964 and christened Edward Antony Richard Louis. Upon his marriage to Miss Sophie Rhys-Jones in 1999Their Royal Highnesses have a young daughter, Lady Louise, who was born in 2003.

  8. PRINCESS DIANA Diana was born in 1961, into a very wealthy and aristocratic family. They married on July 29, 1981 in St. Paul's Cathedral in London. Even though they had two children, William and Harry, Diana and Charles soon became unhappy together. After a very public separation in 1989, an equally public divorce followed in 1996. . In 1997 she started a romance with Dodi Fayed, son of the owner of HaiTods. Soon after the two were tragically killed in a car crash in Paris. She was a very English Rose, whose early death stunned a nation into silence.

  9. Prince William Prince William is the elder son of The Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales. He was born on 21 June 1982, at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London. Prince William was 15-years-old when Diana, Princess of Wales was killed in a car crash in Paris on 31 August 1997.
