  3. George V • Born June 3, 1865 at Marlborough House (London ); baptismal name was Georg Friedrich Ernst Albert . His father - Edward VII, mother - Alexander Danish.Being second son , George received naval education . In September 1877 a 12- year-old George and his brother was admitted to the cadet training ship HMS Britannia [ 2] . During the three years from 1879 , he served as a midshipman on the corvette HMS Bacchante.After death of Queen Victoria in January 1901 as the successor to the throne George received the Duchy of Cornwall in England and in RothesayScotland.Died George V in Sandringham January 20, 1936 .
