  1. PHOTOSYNTHESIS CO2 Is the process by which plants use carbon dioxide, water and sunlight to produce their own food and release oxygen into the air. O2 Sunlight Use the energy from the sunlight to transformthewater and the CO2into glucose and oxygen. CO2 Absorb CO2 through theirstomata. Release O2 into the air. Leaves O2 Transports the glucose from the leaves to the rest of the plant. (The plant uses the glucose to grow) elaborated sap. Carrieswater and minerals from the roots to the rest of the plant.
