  2. Overview This doc is created to show all the possibilities of integration with 3rd party AC system. Toshiba AC of Bacnet, CoolMaster, DAKIN AC, DAKIN Modebus AC, Media AC, ADVANTAGE AIR, Gelingsi, Samsung, Coolink AC, Board AC, Gree Modebus AC, HITACHI AC… HDL products mentioned in this doc: SB-DN-1IP SB-DN-RS232N

  3. Toshiba AC of Bacnet Control BACnet AC system: 1. Diagram 2. Current firmware version for SB-DN-1IP FW_HDL-BN-VRV_V1.00(2013-06-03)

  4. Toshiba AC of Bacnet Control BACnet AC system: 3. Note. “FW_HDL-BN-VRV_V1.00(2013-06-03)” supports Toshiba AC system only, more brands can be added when requested. “FW_HDL-BN-VRV_V1.00(2013-06-03)” supports 128 Toshiba indoor units. The corresponding Toshiba module for “FW-HDL-BN-VRV_V1.00(2013-06-03)” is BMS-STBN08E, spec date 1 October, 2006. Functionalities (DLP AC page): AC On/Off, Room temperature (sensor in DLP panel, cannot get room temperature from AC system), Setpoint, High/Medium/Low/Auto wind, Cooling/Heating/Auto/Dry mode. Disable the option “Control AC Running” in DLP.

Toshiba AC of Bacnet Control BACnet AC system: Application: (use DLP to control Toshiba AC via SB-DN-IP) Upgrade the firmware ‘FW_HDL-BN-VRV_V1.00(2013-06-03)’ on SB-DN-1IP; After upgraded, it will be HDL-BN-VRV, set the 3rd party bacnet gateway information; In DLP, set the ID of HDL-BN-VRV in AC page.(e.g. control the AC in room2) If enable, can be used as gateway to search HDL devices. Ip of 3rd party’s bacnet gateway

  7. CoolMaster Use CoolMaster module to control AC system: 3. Note. Different brand AC system needs different CoolMaster module, e.g., module 1000D is for Daikin AC, 2000S is for Sanyo AC, 3000T is for Toshiba AC, etc. For more info, please visit CoolMaster official website http://coolautomation.com/ , all CoolMaster modules have unified interface (RS232) to interface with SB-DN-RS232N. “FW-HDL-CM_V4.05U(2015-07-23)” supports 64 AC indoor units. Functionalities (DLP AC page): AC On/Off, Room temperature (sensor in DLP panel), setpoint, High/Medium/Low/Auto wind, Cooling/Heating/Auto/Dry mode. Disable the option “Control AC Running” in DLP.

  8. CoolMaster Use CoolMaster module to control AC system: Application: use DLP to control CoolMaster 9000H. Check the CM System ID and CM Group ID on CoolMaster 9000H; In SB-DN-RS232, fill in the CM System ID and CM Group ID;(see HDL AC 2) In DLP AC page, fill in the ID of SB-MCM, and set AC number as 2.

  10. DAKIN AC Control DAIKIN AC via a specific DAIKIN RS485 interface 2. Current firmware version for SB-DN-RS232N: FW_SB-DN-RS232N(DAIKIN)_V4.03U(M64_2014-11-11) 3. Note: The specific DAIKIN RS485 interface module - DRCH-R5, is made by Shanghai DAIKIN Air Conditioning Co., LTD, one such interface module can connect up to 3 indoor units and the spec of the interface module is SZ-02120301. Functionalities (DLP AC page): AC On/Off, Room temperature (sensor in DLP panel), setpoint, High/Medium/Low/Auto wind, Cooling/Heating/Auto/Dry mode. Disable the option “Control AC Running” in DLP. There is no RS485 interface soldered on the SB-DN-RS232N by default, need to specify when order.

  13. Media AC Control Media AC via RS485 port 1. Based on a Chinese spec “美的商用空调网络控制通讯协议V1.4 邓永忠2006-12-4”; If the Media AC used this protocol, then can use SB-DN-RS232N (Media AC version) to control. 2. Current firmware version for SB-DN-RS232N: FW_SB-DN-RS232N-AC232_V02.02U(2015-10-23) 3. Note: Functionalities (DLP AC page): AC On/Off, Room temperature (sensor in DLP panel), setpoint, High/Medium/Low/Auto wind, Cooling/Heating/Auto/Dry mode. Disable the option “Control AC Running” in DLP. There is no RS485 interface soldered on the SB-DN-RS232N by default, need to specify when order.
