Awards for best papers. Submission is free of charge. Editorial board consists of university professors.

Description of Publication • Scientific journal that publishes original research papers • Title: “Euro-Asian Journal of Sustainable Energy Policy” • Bilingual edition (English, Russian) • Two issues (11/2007, 05/2008) • Sixty four pages each (32 in English, 32 in Russian) • One thousand (1,000) copies will be printed

Topics of Publication • Energy supply and geopolitics • Strategic energy planning • Socio – economics of hydrocarbon reserves exploration • Energy interconnections • Regional Energy Market development • Emerging hydrogen technologies • Socio – economics of transcontinental energy corridors • Implementation of Kyoto Protocol mechanisms • Analysis and implementation of climate policy instruments • RTD policies and socio–economics of new form of energy

Contents of Publication • Six (6) – Eight (8) scientific papers • Three (3) – four (4) on energy policy • Three (3) – four (4) on climate policy • Size of each paper 4000 – 5000 words • Submitted in English or Russian • Papers presented in and conclusion reports of PROMITHEAS-2 scientific workshops

Description of Work (1/2) • Dissemination of “Call for papers” • Web-site, universities, research centers, BSEC – PERMIS • Constitution of Editorial Board • Two professors from each partner • Review procedure • Reviewers: Editorial Board and Members of the Groups of Experts (of adequate academic status) • Evaluation is accomplished according to predefined questions and modifications are proposed

Description of Work (2/2) • Papers are translated before review procedure • If adequate number of papers is not accepted, papers from the PROMITHEAS-2 scientific workshops will be included • Dissemination of journal to national stakeholders and through BSEC – PERMIS • Awards will be bestowed to the best papers

Concluding • The scientific publication aims at the presentation of original, high-level research work performed in the Black Sea region • Submission of papers is free of charge • Editorial board consists of university professors • During PROMITHEAS-2, awards will be bestowed to the best papers
