F • The tower has 294 floors up to the bell chamber. • It is perhaps also the strangest tower in the world because it leans to one side and looks like it is going to fall over. • It is believed Bonanno Pisano was the the designer. • The tower began to lean after three floors were built in 1178 . • The builders added more floors , and they made the tower straight again, • it continued to lean by 5 metres to the south and was becoming worse. • The number of visitors is now restricted because the tower will fall over by 2050.
