  1. The Leaning Tower of Pisa By: Joshua Lanier and Triztean Mondragon

  2. The tower leans at a 5.5 degree angle. Due to an uneven foundation. The height of the tower is 55 meters. The construction began on August 9,1173. The while the third floor was being constructed it started to lean. Then it was stopped for a century because of several wars. In 1372 the final floor was constructed. In the same year the bell was finally was installed.

  3. It was closed because of threat of collapsing. It was subsiding at 0.03 inches a year. Engineers started to strengthening the tower in 1990 and worked on it until 2001 when they finally finished restoring.

  4. The experiment done on the tower There was an experiment done by a physician named Galileo Galilei who dropped two cannon balls with different masses from the tower to demonstrate their speed of their descent by their independent masses.
