  3. Student Registration Begin registration at: http://myitlab.pearsoned.com Just below the login textbox, click on: You must have a valid email address and a student access code Sample:WSMXL-TAROK-THOLE-PICON-SHRIK-PRAWN

  4. You are asked to read all information in the License Agreement and Privacy Policy. Click on I ACCEPT

  5. On the Access Information Screen, you’ll be asked whether you already have a ``Pearson Education Account``, click on the NO button

  6. Create a login name and password. Your login name & passwordshould NOT be the same as your BLACKBOARDones The ACCESS CODE case sensitive; TRIPLE check your code to make sure it’s right before you hit the NEXT button!! Your ACCESS CODEis the one which came with your textbook bundle. Type letters in either all uppercase or all lowercase.

  7. Anonymous Registration Set up an email address for your pseudonym (fake name) so that your instructor and Pearson can communicate with you when necessary. Use your existingPERSONALemail service like Yahoo! or Google gmail. On the Account Information page for this course, enter the pseudonym email address. Your name should be inputted as follows: FIRST NAME: 1st4letters of your FIRST name, Followed by an underscore “__” Then the 1st2letters of your Middle name(if you do not have a middle name, use 2numbers) LAST NAME: 1st4 letters of yourLASTname You will be asked to PRINT and then SIGN a class listwith your real name and your pseudonym name and email. IMPORTANT: You must sign this class list with your fake name and real name so that you will GET CREDIT FOR YOUR ASSIGNMENTS AND TESTS. You should NOT transmit such information to “Pearson Education”.

  8. Enter your pseudonym and personal email address.

  9. Use your “pseudonym”: - FIRST NAME: - 1st4letters of your FIRST name, - Followed by an underscore “__” - Then the 1st2letters of your Middle name(if you do not have a middle name, use 2numbers) - LAST NAME: - 1st4 letters of yourLASTname- Use your “personal” email address - (do not use your “Algonquin College” email address)

  10. On the same page, fill in your school information and security question and answer. Then click “Next”

  11. You will then receive a Confirmation & Summary as shown. You will receive a confirmation email. Registration is complete. STOP HERE !!!!!!!! – I need to record your information

  12. Login at www.myitlab.com with your new, alternateusername/passwordyou have just created (please note, you will always log in from this page)

  13. A welcome screen will pop up. Please select ‘Do not display this message again’ and then click OK

  14. Click on Enroll in a Course(If you are a “returning student”-JOIN US HERE

  15. Enter your Course ID, provided by your instructor, and click Submit

  17. Confirm course Verify the Course and Instructor Click Confirm
