  2. Before we begin • Pass your paper to the person in front of you. • Follow the instructions on the PPT • Please make your marks and comments NEATLY • This is to help each other catch mistakes

  3. Step 1 • Get out your handout titled Reflective Essay and look at the header and spacing and font size/type of the person’s paper. (20 points)

  4. Step 2 • Read the entire essay and make a note in the margin next to the event: (20 points) Let them know: • Perfect imagery • Needs more imagery

  5. Step 3 • Underline the RESPONSE • This should be the “feeling” or “emotion” following the event. (20 points)

  6. Step 4 • Circle the REFLECTION • This is what was “learned” from the event. (20 points)

  7. Step 5 • Circle every grammar mistake, misspelled word, sentence structure, etc…. (2 points each)

  8. Step 6 • Did you make this paper perfect for your peer?

  9. Step 7 • Put your name on the bottom of the paper and pass it to the person in front of you.

  10. Step 8 • Look at your new paper, and let’s repeat all 7 steps to perfection!

  11. Step 9 • Hand your paper back to the owner.

  12. Step 10 • Reread over your own paper and ask your editors if you have any questions.
