  2. Paul Revere1735-1818 He lived in Boston Mass. He had to over come the solders of Great Britian . And they were the rulers of 13 colanes . He also in the sons of liberty.
  3. Frederick Douglass1818-1895 He was a slave in the under ground rail road. He made powerful speeches about how slaves should be let free.
  4. Susan B. Anthony1820-1906 Quaker church Boys and girls are equal . I am against slavery. She voted even though She gave speeches. She did not pay the fine. She was a teacher. She lost her job for complaining.
  5. Franklin D. Roosevelt 1882-1945 He had 2 houses. Only child. He got polio and became very weak. He had lots of pets He was very wealthy. At Warm Springs Georgia he got better. He got married with Eleanor Roosevelt.
  6. Eleanor Roosevelt1884-1964 She was very wealthy. They called her Eleanor every where. Franklin died ! Wanted to be a pilot. She had good listening. She got married with Franklin Roosevelt.
  7. Mary Bethune1875-1955 Mary Bethune Diligence and Justice Poor and very sad life Could not read any books Went to a good High school She finally learned how to read She helped people all over the world All people loved her kindness and good thinking
  8. Lyndon B. Johnson Born in Stone Wall Texas. He became part of the government. He was congress and became the president. He was a teacher. Education was the way to go. Grew up poor so he grew up he helped the poor by giving them there needs. Came up with the great society as in preschool. Know for diligence , tolerance , and respect for authority .
  9. Franklin vs. Lyndon Franklin D. Lyndon B. Got polo. Born in Hyde park , New York in 1882. Made the new deal. Just first became president and stayed president. Helped the poor. Known for Grew up poor. Born in Stone Wall Texas in 1903. Made the great society. First was going to be come congress but then became president. Help African Americans voting rights. Known for respect for authority .
  10. Thurgood Marshall 1908-1993 Born in Baltimore , Maryland. He was a child during segregation [African American rights] He got in trouble for sitting on the main floor at a movie theater. Marshal was working to change the laws with his partner Charles Howard . He went to law school after collage.
  11. My favorite is Cesar Chaves I like Cesar because he helped farmers rights. Like the owners have to pay them and give the workers there needs. Shelter ,food, and water . He had a big heart and led a 1,000 mile march. He such a big heart that the whole world could feel it.
