  2. Objective • Students will know the graduation requirements and resources available to ensure academic success • Students will explore the student portal and My Future • Students will write their 4 year plan

  3. Using the pamphlet provided (in folder)… Fill in blanks in pamphlet as we go through power point.

Your Guidance Counselor and You Counselor offices are located in the 1000 building Same location as administration Mrs. Beck: A-G (9th and 12th) Mrs. Linderman: AVID & M-Z (10th and 11th) Ms. Renyer: A-L (10th and 11th) Ms. DiNello: (Prevention Counselor 9-12) Ms. Taylor: AVID and H-Z (9th and 12th), Special Populations (9-12) Contacting Counselor Email Phone Fill out pink form in counseling office Stop in before or after school or during lunch

  14. iSchool • Rigorous online school through DUSD • If you get behind in credits and need to make up classes • Want to take extra classes • Take classes in conjunction with 6 classes if during school year • Summer classes • It is not a quick or easy fix • Do the work now so you do not need iSchool

  15. Tutoring and extra help • Ask teachers for tutoring times • Take the initiative to let teachers know you are struggling • Be dependable-if you make arrangements with teachers to for tutoring times make sure you show up
