  7. WASEX Constraints • (RFI) Is CTF 176 doing their own WASEX brief? If so, does their information need to be in this brief? • (RFI) Does CTF 176 WASEX conflict w/ ESG Backload? • Changes: • Added times for follow-on events • Modified delays language • CVN will operate within 120 nm of Hickam AFB during fixed-wing flight operations • CVW-2 required to conduct divert operations • Not Blue Water Certified • CSG/ESG concurrently conducting WASEX • CSG/ESG concurrently conducting TASWEX • Geography divides southern Air and Sea Space along the central HWY • RIMPAC schedule does not allow for delays in event execution (RIMPAC schedule compressed…) • CSG: TASWEX immediately following WASEX • TASWEX scheduled to commence 1200 on 22 JUL • ESG: PHOTOEX immediately following WASEX • All CSG/ESG ships must be in position NLT 0500 on 25 JUL UNCLASSIFIED
