  1. “Who” is TVRCC & our role • Tees Valley Rural Community Council • Independent Reg Charity & Ltd Company • 1 of 38 Rural Community Councils in England, funded through DeFRA for “rural influencing” • Support expression of rural needs/issues and seek to find ways to address them • Provide Information Support Guidance and Training to Village Halls, Town and Parish Councils and kinds of other rural groups • A Local Voluntary Sector Infrastructure body • Develop projects which support rural concerns such as Development of LEADER, Community Planning and Community Transport
