  6. EDITOR An elaborated figure. Editor’s assignments: • the review of a text with the aim to better it • the responsability of a series ok books • the control over scouts’ work • the opinion on a new, unpublished work but editor could also write

  7. To get more informations about this occupation, I realized some interviews.

  8. The interviewees answered to some questions: • who’s the editor? • can we think about a future for this occupation? • looking to the activities of the editors of the past, can we find some models for the moderns editors? • is it possible to find some examples of bad editing’s work?

  10. Question n° 1: who’s the editor? “we can say that editor is a trainer, with the football language” feelings perspective of the books market

  11. Question n° 2:can we think about a future for this occupation? “recent occupation with a great future” “everyone has something to say but not all are able to do it”

  12. Question n° 3:looking to the activities of the editors of the past, can we find some models for the moderns editors? not the biggest one as Italo Calvino or Cesare Pavese but MODERN EDITORS with their daily works

  13. Question n° 4:is it possible to find some examples of bad editing’s work? someone gives directly examples but others are strictly linked to their professional confidentiality Gomorra is a case of both good and bad editing
