Destructive Forms of Government • Dictatorship • Usually military led Coup de Tat’s • What is a Coup de tat? • Can start good but usually turn bad • Nazism • Based on Racial Superiority • Not being Arian (White) meant death • Communism • Pure- seen as Utopian • History has not been good though

Advantage/Disadvantage • Dictatorship • ADVANTAGE: Efficiency; can make things happen NOW! • DISADVANTAGE: Legitimacy; quick to wear out welcome---you receive all of the blame • Monarchy • ADVANTAGE: Tradition; you know what is expected • DISADVANTAGE: Incompetency for years to come. One bad leader usually leads to another.
