  2. Did you know? An average teenage woman requires 8000-9000kj per day to accommodate for energy use (Llewellyn-Jones & Abraham, 2003, p.87).

  3. Calcium • Calcium is important for bone growth and strength (Llewellyn-Jones and Abraham, 2003, p.91). • 2-4 serves a day will help lower the risk of Osteoporosis (Royton and Fiore, 2005, p.9).

  4. Protein and Iron Iron and protein help to prevent Anaemia and help in the repair of body tissues A sufficient amount of iron is needed in the diet to prevent Anaemia particularly in teenage girls(Llewellyn-Jones & Abraham, 2003, p.91-92). Incorporating lentils, nuts, legumes, liver and red meat in eating habits will help, maintain good protein and iron levels (Llewellyn-Jones & Abraham, 2003, p.91-92).

  5. Fats and Sugars The amount of fat and sugar should be reduced but not completely eliminated Choose leaner meats and fish rather than having meat pies and fish and chips fried in batter. (Llewellyn-Jones & Abraham, 2003, p.85). consider fructose and lactose found in fruit and dairy products. They provide more consistent energy levels than refined sugars in sweets, due to having a low GI (Llewellyn-Jones & Abraham, 2003, p.89).

  7. Design Principles Text I used many different colours and fonts to add colour and to make sure the presentation was neat but made the slides brighter to look at. The colours all being dark colours are so that they can be seen against the background clearly and to not clash with the colours of the image. Images Each image used is to accompany the text and give a better understanding to the text by showing a visual representation of what the text is explaining. The images are all brightly coloured and appeal to the audience as they can be easily recognised. Background I used a less brighter colour for the background than the green colour used in the report so that the focus would be on the images and text. The background is better with having a lighter colour than being left bare. Animation I used different animations between each slide so that the subject matter in each section is divided. It also gives the presentation more variety in each way it is shown.
