JUSTIFICATION The following didactic unit is related to the topic of the human body, as a way of being and living in a space where people exist and have a relationship with the environment and the other people. The human body identifies us, and it lets us to be different from the other beings of nature, this body is full of power to do all kind of exercises and activities we can and we want to do. Being conscious of the importance of our body makes us to think about the value and the importance of this useful machine created by God to give us a place in this world. It is important that little girls give the value that their body is worthy of from the name and the recognition of each part of it, being conscious of the importance of the way as the body works even knowing this from a general point of view, and they can learn to name the different parts in English in a right way through the daily interaction with others in all kind of contexts, in the different experiences naming with a specific and meaningful vocabulary the wonderful human machine where we can find the parts of it that let us to learn to identify, taste, listen to, touch, see, understand, and to feel the world around us.

  4. General objectives of the unit To know the right pronunciation and writing of the external parts of the human body to achieve that this learning of a second language can be meaningful in the different contexts where girls can interact with others.

  5. Specific objectives • To create spaces to play where girls have the need of naming different parts of the human being. • To identify in other kind of resources such as images, photos, and videos, the parts of the body with the right pronunciation and writing.

  6. Contents • Cognitive: to recognize the vocabulary of the parts of the body in the different spaces at home and at the school; places where the girls interact with other people. • Expressive: to use the vocabulary from the environment to describe and to name the different parts of the body. • Affective: to participate happily, and being responsible with the activities proposed in the class.
