  27. - HOW ?- DO’S AND DO NOT’S USING KSWAN SERVICES

  28. Getting Ready to use KSWAN Departments need to provide KSWAN User name and user-id to avail KSWAN services Departments need to register GBC users Username and Password should be given by the department for Dial-up connection

  29. WhatisexpectedfromDepartments Nominate a technical representative for co-ordination with Helpdesk for getting connected to KSWAN. Provide proper UPS power to all KSWAN equipments. Karnataka State Wide Area Network

  30. Do’s Provide UPS power to run the equipment. Keep the equipments(Router/Switch/LAN-Extender/Radios/IPPhones) switched on 24x7. Ensure Security of the devices. Contact Helpdesk team for any technical guidance. Place request to Helpdesk for relocating the equipment. Karnataka State Wide Area Network

  31. DoNOT Switch off equipments. Operate equipments without UPS Power. Troubleshooting without proper guidance from Helpdesk Team. Remove power plug or Data Cable. Move the equipment from installed locations. Karnataka State Wide Area Network
