  2. Rubella is a mild childhood diseasethat can also affect the lives of teenagers and adults. This disease is highly contagious and has the effects of: Swollen glands. Joint Pains. Face and neck rashes. (Last 2 – 3 days) What is Rubella and who is affected??

  3. Accordingto the ‘National Immunisation Program Schedule’ from the Rural City Council, you can get the immunisation when you are 12 mths, 4 years of age, or when you (if you are a woman) are pregnant. When can you get the immunisation for rubella??

  4. There is no specific cure for Rubella, but the only way to be protected from this dreadful disease is to get the MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella) needle. How do you stop rubella??

  5. The reason to get immunised is to protect yourself and those around you from getting this terrible, terrible disease. Why should you get immunised??
