  1. How to register for the ACCUPLACER

  2. First you need to do the following: • In your internet browser type, • http://www.southtexascollege.edu/ Click on “I’m looking for” under Resources and find “STC MARKETPLACE”. Look at the next slide. Or click here to go straight to the Market place site: https://secure.touchnet.com/C20193_ustores/web/

  3. Click on STC MARKETPLACE. • Once you click on STC MARKETPLACE you should see the below image.

  4. The “STORES” will be the campuses available to take the exam at. Click on the one you wish to test at. • After you have chosen a campus you will be directed to a screen with several choices. There you can choose what exam you wish to take.

  5. For example, if I click on STC Testing Center-Pecan Campus I see the following 3 choices.

  6. After you click on the subject you wish to test on, you should see something similar to the below image. Now select the date and time you wish to take it on.

  7. After choosing the time and date of your exam you will choose which exam you want to take from the ones listed below. If you aren’t sure which one to choose, call your campus contact person found on this site: http://develop.southtexascollege.edu/devmath/mACCUPLACER.html

  8. Once you have made your choice for the test site click on “ADD TO CART.”

  9. If you don’t want to add anything else to your cart click on “CHECK OUT.”

  10. Now you are asked to choose a delivery method. The word “NONE” should be checked on. Press, “CONTINUE.”

  11. Once you click on “CONTINUE” you should see the screen below. If you have not setup an account you can click on “CONTINUE UNREGISTERED.” If you have created an account click on “SIGN IN AND CONTINUE.” If you haven’t and wish to create one click on “REGISTER AND CONTINUE.”

  12. I haven’t setup an account, so after filling in my information, I clicked on “CONTINUE UNREGISTERED” in the previous screen and I received the screen below. Now you will need to enter the PROMOTIONAL CODE in the box below to receive this exam at no cost. Once you have done so press APPLY.

  13. Once you click on APPLY you will see something similar to the below screen. Now, fill out the fields below and click on “REVIEW YOUR ORDER.”

  14. Once you have clicked on “REVIEW YOUR ORDER” in the previous screen, you should see the following. If you are satisfied with your selection proceed by clicking on “SUBMIT ORDER”.

  15. Finally you should be viewing your “ORDER RECEIPT”. Make sure to print your receipt and take it with you the day of the exam. If you forget to print your receipt, remember that a copy was also e-mailed to the e-mail address you provided when you registered for this exam. jdoe@hotmail.com John Doe jdoe@hotmail.com

  16. This should be the end of the registration process unless you are planning to register for another test.
