  2. Obesity is a common problem which affects most of people around the world. The reason of obesity can be attributed to junk food, long sitting hours at work and lack of physical activity combined with lack of sleep. Although there are lot of fitness awareness programs and fitness centers like Family Yoga Classes Montclair but still people find it difficult to cope with this problem due to their lack of will and a determination to fight this this problem unless and until it gives rise to other problems.For working women it becomes a bit more difficult as they need to maintain a balance between home and office and find no time for themselves and hence get affected easily with obesity. Here I am sharing some interesting concepts that will help you to achieve your fitness goals.

  3. Track your intake 

  4. The first thing you need to keep in mind is that our body is just like a machine. Whatever you put inside will show as an output. Being a working  women we ignore what kind of food we should eat and switch towards easily available processed food. Junk food or processed food is the root cause of obesity. For a good health the first thing you need to omit is your junk food and follow a healthy routine. Instead of bed tea/coffee start your day with lukewarm water. • To avoid junk food keep healthy snacks with you. • Stay hydrated throughout the day and consume at least 8 glasses of water. • Minimize the consumption of soft drinks and switch towards green tea or black coffee.

  5. Physical activity during work • Most of the jobs are office based where one needs to spend at least 9 hour in a chair. This steady work leads us to obesity. In order to stay healthy and fit one needs to be physically active and for that we need to make adjustments like : • Fix your pick and drop one station earlier so that you can walk a little bit. • Avoid the lift and say yes to stairs • Take a walk after lunch. • Never remain in the same position for a long time and take a break by walking around. • Do stretching whenever you get free time.

  6. Choose workout over your comfort zone

  7. Physical activity is essential to stay healthy and fit. It can be jogging, swimming, skipping, gym, yoga, dance or other forms of workout. Thirty to forty minutes of workout can play wonders in your body. As a working woman there can be a time issue but one can choose a weekend class and enjoy me time. Apart from that during weekdays one can do workout at home like squats, pushups, wall pushups, planks and yoga. These are the most powerful forms of exercises and do not take much time.

  8. Body needs proper rest • Like physical activity body also demands proper rest. A good sleep is helpful in reducing stress. As a working women your workload is almost double but from fitness point of view you need to spare time for rest. Adhere to a rule to never take your office workload home and manage family tasks in a hassle free environment. Never take stress from dual workload.

  9. Role of attitude • Goals can be achieved only with right attitude. We have many excuses but if you want to achieve your fitness goal you need to adopt a positive attitude. Keep calm and focused on problems, believe in yourself, follow rules you make and never cheat yourself. Take help from a meditation instructor if required. A positive affirmation makes your path easy.
