Why choose DPP? • A guaranteed progression to a related Diploma course if you attain qualifying GPA scores • Focus on your interest with ITE Practice-based learning approach (70% practical training and 30% theoretical lessons • Skip the uncertainty of taking the GCE “O” levels and save a year • With a strong foundation in technical education, you will have an edge over fresh GCE “O” level graduates at the polytechnics.

  12. What can I expect if I get into DPP? • 10-week preparatory course starting in Jan 2013 - Oral & Written Communication Skills - Mathematics, Science or Business Skills topics • Upon completion of this course, you will join ITE’s April 2013 intake for the Higher Nitec course you are enrolled in.

  13. How can I guarantee a place in the polytechnics?

How do I apply for the DPP?  • Eligible students will receive a form with a PIN upon release of N-level results and apply through DPP website from 17 Dec – 20 Dec 12 (5pm) • Release of application outcome by SMS/email on • 24 Dec 12 (9 am) • Students to log on to account and accept/reject DPP offer from 24 Dec 12 (9 am) – 26 Dec 12 (5 pm)

  15. How do I appeals for the DPP?  • no centralised appeals system.  Students who wish to appeal should approach ITE directly.  • Students who are unsuccessful in earlier application phases (e.g. Dec, after N-level results) can apply again in the later phases (e.g. Jan, after O-level results) • More information given in Timeline slides • For further information - On DPP: http://www.ite.edu.sg/wps/portal/definitely-des/
