  1. Japanese Fashion By Chelsea and Anna

  2. Styles Kogal Cosplay Ganguro Gothic, Classic, and Sweet lolitas School uniforms

  3. 高校生- Kogal Portrayed mostly by young woman and girls. The Kogal is a sun-tanned California valley girl look. Usually wear platform boots, miniskirts, loads of make up, blond hair, fake suntans, and designer accessories. In school they wear skirts pinned high and loose nee-high socks. Spend most of their time shopping in the Shibuya district in Tokyo. Kogal look is similar to the Ganguro look but is not the same.

  4. Cosplay Cosplay is the japanese word for dressing up like a japanese character. Most people will dress like their favourite anime or manga character. When people go to cosplay conventions they dress in elaborate costumes, usually made by themselves, of their favorite character

  5. ガングロギャル - Ganguro Ganguro literally mean ‘black-face’ The basic look consists of bleached hair, black and white eyeliners, false eyelashes, platform shoes (shoes or sandals), and brightly colored outfits, and lots of accessories. Extreme followers further bleach their hair, get a deeper tan, wear white lipstick, multi-colored eye pastel eye shadows, and glittery adhesives around the bottom rim of the eye sockets.

  6. Lolitas Lolitas is one of the many different fashions in Japan. It includes 3 different types, which are gothic-lolita, and sweet-lolita.

  7. Gothic Lolitas Emphasizes victorian-style clothing Supposed to imitate the look of victorian porcelain dolls Influenced and became popular by imagery of feminine visual-rock bands A combination of the colors black and white, as well with lace and ribbon Lighter makeup is the rule; black eyeliner and pale complexion, red or black lipstick Try to present themselves as victorian children or baby dolls

  8. Classic Lolita More mature style of lolitas that focuses on the arts and old fashion styles. This look can be seen as the more sophisticated, mature Lolita style because of its use of small, intricate patterns, as well more muted colors on the fabric and in the overall design. Classic Lolita is often a more muted version of the sweet Lolita makeup, with a focus placed on natural coloring.

  9. Sweet Lolita Is heavily influenced by girls manga A natural look is emphasized, to help maintain the child like feel of Lolita. Light pastels, light pink, and natural colors make up the Lolita makeup color scheme. Outfits consist of pastels, colorful prints, lace, bows, and ribbons to emphasize the cuteness in the design. Jewelry often reflects this fantasy theme: Popular motifs include cherries, cakes, hearts, ribbons, and bows. Headdresses and bows are also a popular hair accessory to the sweet Lolita look. Bags and purses are often in the shape of stuffed animals or hearts.

  10. School Uniforms • Almost all japanese schools require you to wear a uniform. Girls wear a two piece uniform called a, “Sei fuku.” • Girls uniform includes a medium length skirt, which some girls usually pin up, and a blouse. • Guys uniform is called a gaku-ran, and includes sometimes english sailor suits, but most guys just wear military jackets and caps.
