  4. Outcomes • All must know the definition of pacifism and just war. • All should outline the Christian attitude to war and peace • Most could explain the Christian view on war and peace • Few will complete a 6 mark question and gain 4 or more marks

  5. All Christians believe they should be working for peace, because Jesus came to bring peace to the world. However, there are different attitudes to war among Christians Some Christians believe that war is so wrong that Christians should never fight in wars (they are called pacifists) Some Christians believe that fighting wars can be the best way of bringing peace as long as the war is a just one.
