  2. How has this been possible at Kidderminster College’s LRC? INNOVATIVE LRC MANAGER Jill Edwards decided about five years ago that Kidderminster College needed a Learning Resource Facilitator.

  3. HOW DOES IT WORK? • The Learning Facilitator is:- • Very proactive • Very enthusiastic ………….to the point of being annoying • Very keen and excited about i-skills • Word of mouth

  4. WHAT HAPPENS TO A NEW STUDENT WHEN THEY ARRIVE AT KIDDERMINSTER COLLEGE’S LRC? • Induction which is subject specific based on the Cephalonian method • During first half term they have an i-skills session • During their course they have assignment workshops

  5. LRC INDUCTION QUESTIONS If my dog ate my library book what should I do? If I dropped my memory stick into my bubble bath could I buy a new one from the LRC?

  8. ASSIGNMENT WORKSHOPS • Booked by a tutor after a consultation • LRF has a copy of the assignment • Last 1-3 hours • Offered to all curriculum areas
