  3. Presuming upon God (14) Our minds and nature are limited Our lives are at most like a vapor that quickly vanishes Do we sometimes place the creature above the Creator?

  4. Planning with God (15) We are dependent upon God for life and we are dependent upon God for all we do Three principles: Be willing to do God’s will when you find it His will is always in harmony with His Word Sincerely seek Him in prayer

  5. Pride before God (16) Pride is a natural by-product of self-sufficiency We leave God out of our life when we are prideful in thinking we know the future and when we boast in our profits

  6. Pretentious life contrary to God (17) Self-sufficiency is sin Sins of omission are just as severe as blatant sins of commission We must commit all our ways to the Lord
