Injection • Shot-by-shot logging • Move from measurement and logging databases to SDDS • Add Ip and DUMP switches signals • Check possibility to implement mountain range representation within IPOC viewer • Re-organise signal distribution (same sampling rate for TMR and MAIN switch signals) • Deploy IPOC for triggering signals • MAIN & DUMP triggers, RCPS triggers, Injection Prepulse • Erratic trigger, No trigger, AGK window

Injection (cont.) • Add cooling unit under thyratron heater crates • Replace Pulse Inverter (PI) with Fast Pulse Adapter (FPA) modules  Fine synchronization to be re-checked • Reduce AGK window by 50ns (Reduction IQC thresholds for bunches 1)  Fine synchronization to be re-checked • Replace LECROY scopes with TEKTRONIX • Embedded web server instead of Windows-XP

Injection (cont.) • Add “userPermitted” and “allUserPermitted” settings in MCS • Add “sparkTimer” status in “isSoftStartPermitted” flag • Review OFF status generation in state machine • Integration PMdata within FESA classes for all data needed by IQC • Numbering timing modules in UA as in drawings

  6. Injection (cont.) • Test magnet PT100s • Maintenance KITS software  To be tested before first KISS • Replacement primary circuit breaker in PDC • Check interlock thresholds (MOVD, KFMD…)  To be tested before first KISS

Beam Dump • Maintenance HEINZINGER PNCcap35000-10pos power supplies • Replacement HV voltage output transformer • Replacement METALUX resistor in HV output voltage divider  Full MKD/MKB recalibration needed • Increase re-trigger delay from 100us to 200us • Upgrade TSU • Firmware • AGK window length • 1.2V internal voltage filtering  Revalidation with beam needed (machine setup)

  8. Beam Dump • Replace output circuit (faster) for TSU BIS input circuit (BOOT module)  Channel to be re-tested with MP before machine closure • Implement redundant triggering signal for generator IPOC • Repair faulty ROGOWSKI amplifier • Install local control panels in MKB area

  9. Beam Dump • Integration PMdata within FESA classes for all data needed by XPOC  Re-commissioning of XPOC system • Improve filtering on MKB signals (wavelets???) • Implement new Energy Scan function • In PLC • In FESA (TBC) • Resynchronize generator level CPU with UTC

  11. MKQA • Upgrade triggering system for Aperture mode  Life test before machine closure • Recalibration of Aperture mode voltage dividers • Review OFF status generation in state machine

  12. TCDQ • Replacement 12 bit ADC with 16 bit ADC • Implement beta* interlocking function  Full re-validation without beam • Modify measurement to logging database data transfer criteria • Recalibration beam 2 ???  Alignment to be re-checked with beam
