PROJECT DESCRIPTION • Technique: Direct sampling at public locations. • Product: Kotex Softina. • Target respondents: - Female, 15 – 40. - Belonging to segment of people who have worked/lived in motivated and advanced environment.. • Number of samples given to each respondent: One sample per target. • Kind of public location, Area and Sample Size: • Kind of public location: • Offices • Schools: • Secondary (ninth form) & High schools. • Universities/ Colleges/ Night learning centers. (Note: Secondary & High schools are in top priority of doing sampling). • Entertainment locations • Shopping Centers • Hypermarkets/ Trade Centers. • Supermarkets. (Note: Hypermarkets/ Trade Centers are in top priority of doing sampling). • Areas & sample size:

PROJECT ORGANIZATION • Sample Size for each kind of location: Note: In each area, the sample size of each kind above may be shared together. • Quality Control: No back-check on Public Sampling The project quality will be controlled at sampling points. • Sampling principles: • Promoters stand at an appropriate position such as the exit/entrance or the gate of parking lot to do the sampling. • Sampling will be done in one way only (to only respondents step into or out of locations). • In case FW has been carried out at all public locations, but the total of samples is incompletely conducted, other public locations will be found out for doing sampling. • In case Management Board of locations refused our sampling at their bodies, other locations will be found out for doing sampling. • No respondents’ name/ addresses recorded. • Sampling will be out-broken in short time, except shopping centers & entertainment locations.

PROJECT ORGANIZATION • Timing: 01 Dec 2002 – 14 Dec 2002 • Location Frequency: • Offices: One office one sampling session. • Schools: Sampling sessions for classes in the morning, and/or in the afternoon, and/or in the evening. • At entertainment locations: One location two sampling days. Sampling at weekend is preferable. However, it is according to each location type. • At hyper-markets/trade centers/supermarkets: One location two sampling days. Working time: from 14:00 to 22:00. • Staff & Uniform

  6. PREPARATION I. K.C SUPPLY REQUIREMENT: 1. Samples, delivered on 29 Nov 2002 at following addresses: 2. Equipment, delivered on 20 Nov 2002 at 177/35 Nguyen Van Dau, Binh Thanh, HCMC: 3. Others, delivered at the latest of 15 Nov 2002 at 126D Phan Dang Luu, W3 Phu Nhuan, HCMC: • Product information for training. • Documents prove the quality and origin of the samples: Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Quality, legal transport documents for each area (i.e. Commercial Invoice or Internal Goods Issued notes stipulated by The Ministry of Finance, etc.) II. MSV: 1. Recruiting 2. Training 3. Project announcement to Trade Services 4. Facilities necessary for fieldwork organization 5. Uniform transportation to area 6. Mapping system for fieldwork 7. Recording forms 8. Fieldwork organization

  7. REPORT I. DAILY REPORT: 1. Time: 4:00 p.m. 2. Content: • List of conducted locations (updated). • Process of each area. • Any problems arisen. • Any information from consumers collected during fieldwork. II. FINAL REPORT: 1. Time: 07 after the last area completion. 2. Content: • Fieldwork Result. • List of conducted locations. • Any information from consumers collected during fieldwork. • Inventory Report.
