  2. Quienes ya peinamos canas en el poco pelo que nos queda (nací en 1954), podemos observar con claridad la abismal diferencia entre la forma de educación impartida en nuestra niñez, y la actual. Es tonto afirmar lo de que cualquier tiempo pasado fue mejor. Sin embargo, hay que reconocer que, si nuestra educación fue excesivamente disciplinada, la de hoy, aunque por el otro extremo, no es mejor. Y los educadores, antes en palmitas, por el contrario, hoy son despreciados. Se dice que en el centro está la virtud. Se ve que esa teoría no cuadra con la realidad, pues oscilamos como un péndulo, yendo de un extremo al otro.
