  3. Famous Irish Artists Rory Gallagher was born Liam Rory Gallagher on the 2nd March, 1948 in a town in Co. Donegal called Ballyshannon. One of Ireland’s most famous and talented blues and rock musicianshe was famed not only for his song-writing and vocals but he could play many instruments from the guitar to the saxophone. Arthur Armstrong A noted landscape artist and still-life painter, the Irish artist Arthur Armstrong was born in County Antrim, studied political science at Belfast Universitybefore switching to architecture. Afterwards he attended night classes at Belfast College of Art, meeting contemporaries like Gerard Dillon, Daniel O'Neilland George Campbell.

  4. Borris House Situated in South County Carlow on the River Barrow, with views of the Blackstairs Mountains, Borris house is one of most important country houses in Ireland. Seat of the McMorroughKavanagh family, whose ancestors have lived on the site since the fifteenth century, it is one of the very few houses in Ireland that is still occupied by the family for whom it was built and it still contains a great deal of its original furniture, paintings, documentary archives and other artefacts. Visitors can also take a tour of Borris House during their visit.

In fact, sumptuary portion of the Brehon Law decreed that slaves could only wear cloaks with one colour, while freemen could wear four and kings wore several different colours. Beneath these brats, they wore léine, a tunic that extended to the knees. The leine was very wide at the bottom and narrow on top. Likewise, the leine's sleeves were narrow at the upper arms but widened greatly at the elbows. Another garment, known as an inar, was a jacket, pleated at either beneath the breast, or at the waist, with split sleeves. Woodcarvings seem to indicate that inar were richly decorated, possibly through embroidery.

Guinness Storehouse The Storehouse is laid out over seven floors surrounding a glass atrium shaped in the form of a pint of Guinness.Theground floor introduces the beer's four ingredients (water, barley, hops and yeast), and the brewery's founder, Arthur Guinness. Other floors feature the history of Guinness advertising and include an interactive exhibit on responsible drinking. The seventh floor houses the Gravity Bar with views of Dublin and where visitors may drink a pint of Guinness included in the price of admission, which was €16.50 (€15.00 if booked online) as of April 2014.In 2006, a new wing opened incorporating a live installation of the present day brewing process.
