  2. Description for Polar Bear • Name: Polar Bear • Class: Mammal • Order: Carnivores • Habitat: Coasts, ice floes • Range: Arctic ocean to southern limits of ice floes • Size: Body: 12.2-2.5meters (71/4-81/4), tail: 7.5-12.5 cm • Family: Bears • Color: White, Brown

  3. Habitat for Polar Bear Polar Bears live in one of the Planet’s coldest environments. It’s roam the Arctic ice sheets and swim in that region’s Coastal water. They are very strong swimmers. Seals, fish, seabirds, arctic hares and musk oxen are the polar bears main prey ,and in the summer it also eats berries and leaves of tundra plants. Some polar bears spend part of year on land.

  4. Adaptations for Polar bear Polar bears live in tundra. Physical adaptations can include feathers, fur and insulation Body shape and color. Behavioral adaptations can include Hibernation, caching, Migration, shelter. Protection can be both a physical adaptation and a behavioral adaptation.

  5. Polar bear need to survive Polar bear survival is entirely dependent onsea ice as a platform for hunting the marine mammals that provide their nutritional needs. It’s living on ice that don’t need to drink water. They get the liquid they need from the prey they eat.

  6. Affect animal Polar bear main prey leaves of tundra plants and other animals seals, seabirds, fish, arctic hares, and musk oxen. Because if polar bear more hunting it will be affect plants and animals in its environment.

  7. Interesting Facts The Polar bear are the world's largest land Predators. Male polar bear may grow 10feet tall and weigh over 1400 pounds. Females reachm7feet and weigh 65pounds. In the wild polar bears live up to age 25. Polar bears have been know to swim 100miles at a stretch. Baby polar bears often starve. If fact, 70 percent do not live to their third birthday.
