  3. Appearance • Polar bears tongues are dark blue and they have blue snouts. They have shaggy fur and • it is white. They have rounded ears with black noses. Polar bears have very strong feet.

  4. Habitat • Polar bears live in snowy places like the arctic, Northern Canada and the North Pole.

  5. Food • Polar bears eat seals, sometimes walruses, birds and dead animals.

  6. Young • Polar bear cubs are born in November or December. When moms have their cubs when their four or five and they have one to three cubs. They have their cubs in their den. Their cubs are smaller than a rat when they are born.

  7. Interesting facts • Polar bears are the biggest bears and the largest land predators. They grow to be three meters tall. There is 21-28,000 polar bears left in the wild. Polar bears are threatened by humans, global warming and northern mining.
