  1. Lean Production Simulation Eine einfach Power Point Simulation zeigt den Vorteil der Einzelfertigung (Single Piece Flow) gegenüber der Serienfertigung (Batch Production). Es werden 12 Takte und drei Fertigungsstufen durchlaufen. Bei jedem Takt wird ein Teil in jeder der Fertigungsstufen fertig gestellt und weiter geschoben. Ein Takt wird durch einen Mausklick ausgelöst. Am Ende der Simulation, also nach dem 12. Takt erfolgt automatisch eine Bilanz der unterschiedlichen Leistungsfähigkeit der beiden Systeme. Das Ergebnis zeigt, dass die kleinste Losgröße immer die bessere Lösung ist, unabhängig von der Bestellmenge des Kunden.
