  4. ▲ Background Information • A min-bar with a variety of drinks is always in the guest rooms in most hotels. Guests can enjoy whatever he likes anytime. The types and quantities of drinks vary among different hotels of different ranks and management policies. Generally, a mini-bar is equipped with common drinks and beers. home

What can I do for you? • S: Yes, my husband and I occupy this room and our children are in room 306. We don’t want any liquor in their room. My children might be tempted to sample some spirits in the mini-bar, and they are too young to do this. Can you clear the fridge of all the spirits? • RA: Certainly. Should I leave some soft drinks and the nuts and shrimp crackers? home

Is the tap water drinkable? • RA: No, I am afraid not. But the water in the mini-jar is. • S: I see. By the way, there is something wrong with the mini-bar in our room.
