  1. How to Apply Cream Blush to get a Glowing Look How to Apply Cream Blush to get a Glowing Look Have you ever had confusion about whether to go for cream blush or a powder bush? Or which is the right shade of blush for my skin tone? Or how do I keep it looking fresh all day? Well, look no further. As you know, cream blushes are very much different than the powder blushes. Some might say that it is difficult to apply cream blush and that powder ones are much better, but if cream blushes are applied the right way it can give you a dewy, youthful finish and a glowing look. You also know that powder absorbs moisture and so people with dry skin must avoid using powder blushes and prefer the cream blush because the powder blush can enhance your dry skin. During the winters, the cream blush is the best option because it helps add moisture to your face and makes your face dewy. Avoid using cream blushes in humid weather conditions as it can make you look oily, instead use powder blush.

  2. If you want to know how you can use a cream blush to get a glowing look, keep on reading. Prep your face Prep your face You can start with doing the routine you do to prepare your face. Apply your moisturizer and concealer to cover your dark circles and blemishes on your face. You can also apply your favorite foundation and blend it well into your skin. You can use a brush or a beauty blender to apply your foundation. At this stage we generally put on powder to set the foundation but it would be better to wait till we apply the cream blush. This would help set your cream blush and your foundation, otherwise your cream may not blend well onto your face. If you have dry skin, you might want to put off the powder all the way. Choosing the right blush Choosing the right blush Sometimes we have a confusion when choosing the right makeup for skin tone. Firstly, we should know the difference between a cream bush and a powder blush, which will give you different results. When using a cream blush, you can start with smaller amounts at first and slowly build the color to your liking. It is good to do so because excess cream blush is difficult to remove but in case you do get excess blush on, you can blend it out with a very thin layer of foundation. Here are a few general tips that can help you decide the right blush, according to your skin tone. Fair Skin: Use a pink or pale pink shade which will give you the most natural glowing look.

  3. Medium Skin: Use a few shades darker than baby pink, it would give you a natural look. Dark Skin: Go bold! Use highly pigmented shades of cranberry or brick to get a subtle look. Applying the cream blush Applying the cream blush Figure out your cheekbones and the apple of your cheeks. You can either smile or make a fish face to determine this. The high points of your face when you smile or make a fish face is the apple of your cheek and cheekbones respectively. Now that is the spot where you would apply your cream blush. There are also three different ways to apply your blush. Your Fingers: This is the easiest way to apply blush. Just get some blush on your finger and blend it out on your cheeks. A Brush: Dab on some cream blush on your brush and apply it on your cheekbones. Beauty Blender: A blender is technically a sponge. Get some blush on it and apply it in swiping motion on to your cheekbones or the apple of your cheeks. If you get excess you can flip the sponge to the clean side and blend it. This is a simple guide where you can use to get a glowing finish when applying a cream blush. An important way to apply blush is to start with small amounts so that there are no disasters later. You can always built up the color as you go, according to your liking. Get yourselves some cream blush and get glowing.
