Dosing Weight is (0) • Infusion rate is (1) • TPN & Lipids – a warning may • happen when scanning – • “you have <1cc do you want to • DC” the correct answer is NO • To enter a bag of fluid when • patient coming from OR/ER- • go to New IV and select “ordered” • fluid and add note. • When it does not scan place in • red pharmacy bin • 7. Only one patient shows in IV • Manage • 8. Leave “0” that is placed in I&O, it is • a placer/check mark that IV was • started and ended. Special Note: VUH- requires armband scan in CO prior to going to IV manage VCH- No armband scan prior to going to IV manage
