Public Health Emergency Preparedness Cooperative Agreement Provides funds to 62 public health departments to strengthen all hazards preparedness/response Supports collaborative planning with Canada and Mexico Supports pandemic influenza preparedness specifically Supports readiness in the major metropolitan areas across the country Promotes the measurement of preparedness through performance measures Emphasizes increasing preparedness through drills and exercises, their evaluation and subsequent improvements
