  7. Bootcamp Practice (10 mins) • Pages 53- 54- sketch graphs in your notebook. Answer questions in you notebook. You may not write on the paper.

  8. Bootcamp Practice • Raise your hand if you need any help • Ask questions NOW, the Cahsee will be too late! *Teacher will determine grouping (independent, pairs, etc.)

  11. Rate, Speed, Distance, and Time- 7 mins • Rate- expressed as a ratio (fraction)

  12. Rate 168 pages= 24 pages a day 7 days 456 pages = 19 days 24 pages 19 days- 7 days (already read)= 12 days

  13. Rate (Unit Price) The bananas were 5 lbs for $2.30. What is the unit price (price per lb)? 2.30/ 5= .46¢ Per lb The price of 12lbs? .46¢ x 12lbs= $5.52

  14. Bootcamp Practice (15 mins) • Pages 73- 76- you may not write on. Copy the questions/ sketch graphs into your composition notebook and solve. You don’t have to write the steps, however you must copy down the word problems into your composition notebook.
