VILA VIVA Program • Goals • Housing deficit reduction • Improvement and recovery of existing house reserves, by physical and environmental restructuring of the settlements; • Social economic development and improvement of living with the community follow up. VILA VIVA Program • VILA VIVA Numbers: • 13 communities benefited; • R$ 1,2 bi of resources(Municipal and Federal Fund) • 193000 people assisted • 74% reduction in the number of buildings in high-risk situation of sliding (Aglomerado da Serra); • Reduction of 80% of homicides and 50% of the violent crimes (Aglomerado da Serra); • 21.530 housing units produced between 1994 and 2013.
