The first three semesters in most BA LLB colleges in India are dominated by arts topics, whereas the last five semesters are dominated by legal studies. The BA LLB programme is a popular option among students who are interested in the profession of law in India and throughout the world. BA LLB provides a solid foundation in essential disciplines including Business Law, Constitutional Law, Code of Civil Procedure, Election Law, Political Science, Drafting & Pleading, Economics, and so on. After finishing the BA LLB, students can pursue additional legal studies such as the LLM or PhD. In terms of course organization and content, the qualifying conditions for both the LLM and PhD in Law differ.
