Evzone Chapter Success Factors • Chapter officers welcome and actively recruit all unfamiliar faces and new members in the community • Monthly meetings are open to all and include a no charge gourmet dinner • Chapter provides multiple social and cultural events for community • Members staff weekly desk after services during coffee hour to promote AHEPA activities • Stalwart community leaders are active, enthusiastic officers or members of the Chapter • Several parish priests are vocal, supportive and active members • Almost all Church Trustees are active members • Chapter activities compliment many important church events • Refreshments after Christmas and Easter services • Members staff multiple locations at Church Festival • Hosts annual luncheon for graduates and provides scholarships • Sponsors national and regional basketball tournaments to attract younger members

Recruiting and Keeping Members • Constant and continual communication is essential to making Brothers aware of the value of their membership • Pictures and write-ups concerning activities need to be prominently displayed • Use professional marketing materials to promote and memorialize activities; i.e., folders, brochures, pamphlets, newsletters and web sites • Provide a diverse range of activities to attract different interests • Every Brother has some activity they dearly love
