  1. Boris Bobchenko, Tengiz Kvaratskheliya and Evgeni Tarkovski • Status of ITEP PMT test bench activity • 200 PMTs were measured ( box2, box3, box4, box6 ). • Only one PMT ( LA0007 ) was found to exceed the linearity limits at 104 gain in box2. • For other boxes all measurements are present below for comparison.

  2. Linearity test of PMTs from box 3 NONLINEARITY (%) RATE EFFECT (%) N PMT G1 G2 G3 G1 G2 G3 5 LA0166 ,24 -,69 -2,2 ,86 -,41 -,43 48 ZL2600 ,6 ,9 2,1 ,33 ,32 -,55 50 ZL2606 -,5 -,5 -2,2 -,56 ,7 ,64

  11. Conclusions • 9 PMTs from 200 measured were found to exceed the linearity or rate effect limits. • From 9 bad tubes (8 of them were measured by Bernard) 3 PMTs are present in the LAL list of bad PMTs. • Only 2 PMTs ( LA0007, LA0109 ) has nonlinearity more 2 % at the gain 104 that was measured HAMAMATSU: • NONLINEARITY (%) RATE EFFECT (%) • PMT G1 G2 G3 G1 G2 G3 • box2 LA0007 -2,3 -1,7 -1,3 ,66 ,76 -,5 • box6 LA0109 -2,4 -1,5 1,4 ,41 ,2 -,65 • 4. For other 7 PMTs nonlinearity and rate effect exceed 2% level at higher gains (not measured by HAMAMATSU).
