Project Background • Advisors: • Hart Freeland Roberts, Inc. • Emily Mowry, B.E, Project Manager, Healthcare • Jim Easter Jr., VP Principle HFR Healthcare Planning • Market Potential: • Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center sees over 3,500 new cancer patients and more than 65,000 outpatient visits annually. • The goal of modern treatment centers is to provide comprehensive and compassionate treatment while maximizing efficiency.
Current Status • Met with advisors to discuss project goals • Obtained contacts from the Ingram Cancer Center • Ted Gilbert, Department Administrator • Greg Martin, Manager of Patient and Family Services • Toured Cancer Center • Conducted preliminary research for room layout • Nurses provided suggestions for improving room efficiency • Submitted proposal
