  1. EXCHANGE TRADED FUNDS

  2. WHAT ARE EXCHANGE TRADED FUNDS? • An exchange-traded fund (ETF) is a basket of securities you buy or sell through a brokerage firm on a stock exchange. ETFs are offered on virtually all asset classes ranging from traditional investments to alternative assets like commodities or currencies. • An ETF holds assets such as stocks, commodities, or bonds and generally operates with an arbitrage mechanism designed to keep it trading close to its net asset value, although deviations can occasionally occur. Most ETFs track an index, such as a stock index or bond index. ETFs may be attractive as investments because of their low costs, tax efficiency, and stock-like features.

  3. ADVANTAGES OF TAX SAVE MUTUAL FUNDS • Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) take the benefits of mutual fund investing to the next level. • ETFs can offer lower operating costs than traditional open-end funds, flexible trading, greater transparency, and better tax efficiency in taxable accounts. • Most informed financial experts agree that the pluses of ETFs overshadow the minuses by a sizable margin.
