WHY ESTABLISH A PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT FRAMEWORK? • To document the major elements of the performance monitoring system so as to better inform the various stakeholders in Canada and in the field. • To assess the level of achievement of the expected results: outputs, outcomes and impact. • To ensure the regular and timely collection of performance information.
