  1. Downloaded from: justpaste.it/65wk2 How the Lack of Employee Training Affects Your Organization? Employees are the Company’s biggest asset. Investing in talent is vital for Sustainable Business Growth and Success. Dedicated Training and Development foster Employee Engagement. Engagement is critical for a company’s Financial Performance. Replacing talent can cost more than retaining the Employees you originally had. The top Benefit for driving Employee Development is to shape a more Efficient, Competitive, and Engaged Workforce. Companies that have actively interested and dedicated Employees see lower absenteeism rates and Higher Productivity. While Organizations have a pretty clear idea of what it costs to train an employee they ignore the real question; what is the cost of not training an employee? Many Organizations see Training as an Expense and not as an Investment. Untrained employees will, inevitably lack the Knowledge to use company resources properly, which will lead to waste. In a Service industry, Lack of Knowledge about Procedures will affect Customer interaction and Retention. Employees, the Company and Clients will all bear the brunt. Mentioned below are the Disadvantages of Inadequate Employee Training for Organizations- Poor performance- Employees who don’t receive adequate Training (either technical training, soft skills training or any other professional training) may have difficulty meeting Performance standards. While some of your workers may be Self-Motivated and take it upon themselves to learn how to do their Jobs better, others may not have this kind of Attitude. As a result, they may end up Learning by Trial and Error or by imitating Co-Workers of varying levels of Competency. Mediocre Performance, not only takes a toll on Employee Morale, but Negatively impacts the entire Business.

  2. Diminished Industry Standing- if your Employees are continually Learning, they are able to keep the company on the cutting edge of Industry Trends. Failure to invest in Training can result in a cloistered Business that has little Industry relevance. In order to keep your Business Competitive, it is crucial that Employees are trained at Regular Intervals. Employee Turnover- most Employees like to feel a sense of pride in their work, do their Jobs well and Advance within the Company. Without Training, it is harder for Employees to do this and they may feel Undervalued, Inadequate and unable to achieve their Career Goals. This can, in turn lead to Higher Employee Turnover. Loss of Clients and Customers- if employees are not properly Trained, they don’t know how the Organization does Business. When a Client or Customer calls, an Under-Trained Employee may not be able to Answer Questions or provide the level of Customer Service expected. Without a grasp of the Company’s Mission, Goals, Products or services, an Employee can put off a Potential Customer or alienate an existing one. Reinventing the Wheel- where Training is Poor or Non-Existent; Employees and even Managers repeat mistakes. Training greatly increases Employee Efficiency and Productivity. It also keeps Employees up to date with new Trends and Best Practices. The Ripple Effect- it is always a Challenge for Companies to find Competent People, who would potentially move into Management. When lack of training, management training skills leads to High Employee turnover, the pool of Potential, Promotable Managers diminish. In such circumstances, a Business is not just letting its brightest prospects walk out the door, it often is consigned to promoting second-choice Employees. This, in turn, creates Managers who might not be able to train the next wave of Hires, and this adversely affects Business. A lack of Training for Employees can cost a Business more than Money. It can cost an Organization its Reputation. Training and enveloping employees is critical to the future Success of a Company. This Example perfectly sums up the situation- If you were given a choice between Two Pilots- One that was Trained & the other not- Which one would you choose? Have a Safe Flight !!!!!!! During this critical time of Covid-19 pandemic, the employee training has been extended to a new level with online training programs including online technical training, online soft skills training or any other professional training. It has become one of the most widely recognized option to train employees effectively without being worried about the employees health and wellness. Preferred by growing numbers of organisation these day, online workplace training programs, including eLearning courses, webinars, videos, etc for effective employee training becoming more and more important than ever. The variety that online training offers mean that employees can learn according to their style and immediate needs. It also means they can learn on the go.
